| Events for April 5 & 6, 2008 |
There are a couple of big events happening this weekend in Metro Detroit.
First we have the American Baby Faire at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, MI on April 5-6, 2008. Check it out for free samples, coupons, discounts on products, information from experts and more. It's open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday. Addmission is $8 for adults with grandparents and children under 12 free. Local Babies R Us stores have $3 off admission coupons so be sure to pick one up before heading to the show.
Next check out Bookstock! This is a huge used book sale being held at Livonia's Laurel Park Place to raise money for literacy programs. It runs April 6-13, 2008. The sale starts at noon on the 6th and closes at 6 p.m. The hours are 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. the rest of the week (Monday thru Saturday). Admission is free! You can also take advantage of a special pre-sale from 8:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, admission $10. Or, to save even more money, visit on the last day (April 13) when all books will be half off!
If you're still in the mood for bargain shopping after all this check out the local Mom 2 Mom sales going on this weekend. There are more than a dozen taking place all over the area.Labels: events, sales |
