Target Lightbulb Deal

If you've been planning to try out compact florescent light bulbs in your home this week would be a good week to buy them. Target has GE Energy Smart compact florescent bulbs on sale. They also have a coupon available for $2.00 off GE Energy Smart Instant On Mini Light Bulbs. You can use this coupon on it's own or combine it with a manufacturer's coupon for $1.00 off GE Energy Smart Light Bulbs. The Mini Light Bulbs are on sale this week for $5.00 each so combining coupons brings your total price down to $2.00! If you've ever priced compact florescents you know that's quite a good deal.

I've seen some bargain and coupon boards around the net talking about this deal but using the $3.59 10 or 13 watt bulbs. Those aren't the same bulbs as on the Target coupon. Some Target stores are honoring the coupons for the cheaper bulbs, but not all are. The Instant On Mini Bulbs are a little shorter than the standard bulbs of the same wattage. Make sure you are buying the Instant On Mini Light Bulbs to get your full coupon savings!

We've saved a bunch by switching over to them. I have to stock up so I can replace the bulbs in the new house too!
